On #GivingTuesday, we are asking for your help to make a difference in the life of a dog or cat in our community.
When you give this holiday season, please consider that as a no-kill shelter we never give up and will keep an animal until he or she finds a safe and loving home. Every dog and cat that comes through our doors gets spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and treated for parasites. We are able to provide these services to the community because of generous donors like you!
Your gift on Giving Tuesday will help support our mission to eliminate unnecessary euthanasia of healthy or treatable companion animals in the community and find them permanent, loving homes.
We have a day for giving thanks. We have two for getting deals. Now, we have #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. On Tuesday, December 1, 2015, charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give.
It’s a simple idea. Tell everyone you can about how you are giving. Join us and be a part of a global celebration of a new tradition of generosity.
WCGHS is a nonprofit animal welfare organization established in 1994 and has been serving the animals in the Camas-Washougal community for 21 years. We have a highly dedicated volunteer base and like all shelters have limited space and resources. However when WCGHS accepts an animal we make a lifetime commitment to their welfare. We exist thanks to the generosity of the community, our veterinary partners, donors, and volunteers.
